- The session fee is payable the day of your session
- On Location and Outdoor Sessions

- Outdoor deposit and session fee is refundable or transferable to another day with a 48 hour cancellation notice. The session fee will be retained without 48 hours notice.
- Outdoor deposit and session fee is refundable or transferable to another day if your session has to be rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions.
- Session fee is for the time and talent of the photographer and does not apply to your portrait order. The deposit amount less the session fee applies to your portrait order.
Your Portrait Session
- Please feel free to get to the studio 10 minutes early to allow your child to acclimate to the environment and change clothes. Bringing in your child’s favorite book, toy or CD of music helps him warm up and feel more comfortable during his portraits. It may also be a good idea to bring a snack for your child in case he needs a break from the session.
- Your child’s safety is your responsibility-both in sessions as well as being in the studio in general.
- Please remember that props are NOT toys. To ensure that our photography props are in good condition for yours and others portraits sessions, as well as for your child’s safety, please do not let your children use them as toys.
- Toys are available in the waiting room.
- When possible, avoid bringing siblings that are not being photographed. Distractions can have a very negative effect on a portrait session that under different circumstances would have been a success.
- Try to remember there is no good way to “plan” what will happen in a session. Children can be very unpredictable, and “forcing” something to happen usually doesn’t work.
- Avoid rehearsing “smile” with your child. Making small children aware of the facial expressions usually only leads to forced expressions and uncomfortable children.
Your Portrait Order
Review of your portraits and making your selection is scheduled to be done in the studio one week after your session. We will book your review appointment the day of your session, or you may choose to view your images using our online gallery.
